Bio
The work of Alina Frieske evolves at the intersection between photography and painting, wherein she investigates into the representation of the human body in a networked environment. Using collage techniques, she explores the multiplicity of information stored as part of what constitutes our virtual identities and the impact of digital technologies on our daily lives.
Alina studied Visual Communication at Acadamie Beeldende Kunsten Maastricht (ABKM) and graduated with an MA in Photography at Ecole cantonale d’art de Lausanne (ECAL) in 2019.
She lives and works in Berlin.
A complete portfolio is available upon request.
